China probes DeepSeek and Moonshot over possible data leaks to Claude

According to The Information, China's internet regulator is examining whether those companies sent user data to Anthropic.

The report hit Chinese AI stocks listed in Hong Kong: Z.ai, also known as Zhipu, fell 12.4%, MiniMax 4% and Alibaba 4.4%.

The same day, Alibaba unveiled the Zhenwu V900, an AI chip the company calls the most powerful in China, and announced plans for Qwen models of up to 10 trillion parameters.
